Lupine’s Day

Lupine’s Day remains one of the best days, ever. It was warm, yet not overly warm, and a slight breeze came and went to keep the air fresh. The distant clouds provided a stellar backdrop with absolutely no chance of rain. The sun was bright, the flowers blooming, the bees buzzing, and really, there is nothing that could improve upon the day.

Every now and then we come across these moments in time, moments we wish to cherish and treasure forevermore; moments so perfect that they seer themselves into our memory so we can recall every detail years and years later; moments that so powerful that they define a place and experience.

Yosemite National Park, in California, is world-renowned for its superlative beauty. People travel from all around the globe just to see this one park and its central feature, the valley. With soaring granite cliffs, a picturesque river , waterfalls, and more, it is easy to get lost in the classic grand scenes.

Yet, like Lupine’s Day, Yosemite is full of other surprises and other scenes if only we know where and when to look. And now it will never be forgotten.
