Encounter: It is almost here!

Coming Soon!

Your world's survival depends on you. Are you ready for this Encounter?

Drs. Wilson and Meriwether left work that day tired but satisfied with their test results. They knew working with the Ebola virus was dangerous, but their efforts to find a vaccine that would protect humans from this deadly pathogen were crucial. With an 88% mortality rate and death occurring just 7-14 days from the victims' onset of symptoms, Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever is one of the worst scourges known today, and they really wanted to prevent another outbreak like the one in Central Africa in December 2006. The doctors pushed from their minds the knowledge that their efforts to develop this vaccine, using current models for vaccines that protect groups of chimpanzees (but not humans), had accidently created a new, incredibly virulent virus rather than a vaccine.

Like Ebola, this new virus runs its course swiftly through its host and carries a high mortality rate. And, while outbreaks of Ebola are extremely deadly, no animal reservoir, with the possible exception of the fruit bat, is capable of sustaining the virus between outbreaks, providing a natural buffer. However, this new virus can survive brief exposure to air, making it easily transmittable from human to human. Early testing of this virus also showed that this virus is genetically unstable and the risk of base mutations always exists. These findings led scientists to dub the virus Rapidly Aerosolized & Transmittable Hemorrhagic Virus (RATH-V). At least, the doctors consoled themselves, the new mutant virus was safely contained in the lab.

So when Drs. Wilson and Meriwether sat down to dinner that night with their families, they attributed their fatigue and small aches to the long hours they'd been putting in at the lab lately.

But then...
...they sneezed.

Fringe Innovations is pleased to present Radio Free David, an internet radio station broadcasting your favorite songs without commercial interruption. Radio Free David specializes in bringing the less heard versions of great songs, which usually means live, acoustic, unplugged and long versions. The playlist is not simply downloaded from iTunes or taken from current CDs: instead, the playlist is sourced from the less common places. It is agonized over, thought about and is constantly being tweaked and tuned. Radio Free David also runs new and emerging artists who have not yet broken through into the mainstream. The music is the primary concern, and ultimately determines if a song is in the playlist or not.

Radio Free David is a unique listening experience. There are no commercials, no interruptions, and the music never stops. Be sure to listen to the music! Radio Free David is fully licensed and legal, and fully adheres to all applicable laws and regulations, including the DMCA.
